Local residents reported that a heavy artillery shell fired from the military council's Hpakant Tactical Command Base landed and exploded in Seikmu village, Hpakant Township, Kachin State, today, June 19, just after 12:00 PM, injuring two civilians.

The heavy artillery shell landed and exploded near the Asia Auto car workshop inside Seikmu village, Saing Taung Ward 4. Of the two injured individuals, one sustained an injury to the waist and is reported to be in critical condition.
