Sumy Region Police Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team Defuses Kh-101 Cruise Missile Warhead

After another enemy attack, a Russian cruise missile was discovered in the region and shot down by the Ukrainian Defense Forces. After the fall, the ammunition did not detonate, remaining deadly to people.

Officers from the Explosives and Disposal Service of the Main Directorate of the National Police quickly arrived at the scene. During the examination, experts determined the type of ammunition found and assessed the level of threat.

Taking all necessary safety precautions, explosives technicians defused the missile's warhead. After that, it was transported to a specially designated site, where it was safely destroyed.
