In addition to the Ukrainian loss of a MiG-29 at Voznesensk Airbase, a Russian Su-35 in western Belgorod Oblast was able to shoot down a Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter jet near the town of Velyka Bahachka, Poltava Oblast, with an R-37 air-to-air missile. The interception was carried out at a range of up to 190 km. This was the missile flying to Poltava Oblast that I reported on yesterday. The Pilot was reportedly able to eject and survived.
