Attack on Police Station in Calima, Darién Leaves Two Police Officers Dead Two members of the National Police were killed and two others injured in an armed attack on a police station in the rural El Muro subdistrict of Calima, Darién, Valle del Cauca. The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon, June 24, at approximately 4:25 p.m. The station is located about 40 minutes from the municipal center. The two officers who died belonged to the Special Operations Group (GOES). The two wounded officers are receiving medical attention. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances of the attack and identify those responsible.
