UAV operators from the Black Sky battalion of the ‘Spartan’ Brigade have destroyed two Russian S-300 launchers near Volnovakha in the Donetsk region.

This was reported by the ‘Spartan’ Brigade on Facebook on 26 June.

The occupiers had positioned these launchers near the Donetsk–Mariupol road. According to preliminary estimates, the value of the destroyed equipment amounts to around $50 million, the military said.

“However, the most important thing is that the occupiers have lost the ability to strike frontline areas in the Donetsk region (the enemy usually uses the S-300 in ‘surface-to-surface’ mode to fire at ground targets).”
