A man was killed after a bomb planted on his motorcycle exploded outside a guesthouse in Ormaratown of Gwadar District in Balochistan on June 25, reports Zrumbesh. The victim, identified as Raja, son of Charshambe, was a resident of Makoola, an area in Pasni tehsil (revenue unit). According to Ormara Station House Officer (SHO) Bashir Ahmad, the man had arrived the previous night at the guesthouse of prominent religious figure Syed Maheem Jan and stayed overnight. When he attempted to start his motorcycle at dawn to depart, an improvised explosive device (IED) fitted to the vehicle detonated, killing him instantly. Ormara is home to a major Pakistan Navy base, adding strategic significance to the incident. No group has claimed responsibility so far.
