A terrorist ‘commander’ was killed and his associate sustained injuries while another associate was arrested when Security Forces (SFs) conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Chamina area along the South Waziristan–Balochistan border under Wana tehsil (revenue unit) of South Waziristan District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on June 22, reports The Khyber Chronicles. The encounter took place where SFs engaged terrorists attempting to operate in the area. The slain ‘commander’ was identified as Aidrri Kochi.
