On 18 July 2021, at Kyi Ngo mountain of Pauk township (Pakokku district, Magway region), the Pauk PDF claimed that there was an explosion of two landmines and 15 military troops were killed. There was another explosion in the evening and 17 military troops who came to retrieve the dead bodies from the earlier explosion were killed. Fatalities coded as 32 in total.
