Ukraine struck the Orenburg Gas Processing Plant deep inside Russia overnight (around 1200 km away), and NASA FIRMS satellite fire-detection data showed several blazes in the plant's industrial zone.

Local reports said two facilities were hit: the gas-processing plant run by Gazprom Pererabotka and the nearby Helium Plant operated by Gazprom Dobycha Orenburg. Both are owned by Russia's state-controlled Gazprom and sit in the same Orenburg gas-chemical complex, near the border with Kazakhstan.

The local governor claimed several drones were downed over an industrial site — the legendary "debris" has struck again.
