On 19 June 2026, Russian forces (units of the 'West' group using operational-tactical aviation, combat UAVs, missile forces, and artillery) struck the Ukrainian personnel and equipment, including two marine brigades and two territorial defense brigades (coded to Yatskivka) near Hrushivka, Kharkiv. According to Russian sources, Ukrainian military lost: 5 armored combat vehicles, 10 vehicles, a Grad MLRS, 5 field artillery pieces and up to 220 Ukrainian servicemen were killed near Yatskivka, Maliivka, Vasylivka, Husynka and Hrushivka [Russian MoD reported 220 fatalities.
