On 14 June 2026, an unidentified armed group carried out an attack, likely via drone(s), targeting a weapons warehouse inside the perimeter of the IRG 1st Military District command in Al Qarn (Sayun, Hadramawt). The attack resulted in a number of IRG injuries, some of whom were serious, including 5 commanders from the IRG Yemeni Emergency Forces.
