On 15 June 2026, Russian Forces launched air strikes with KAB-250 bombs and FPV drone strikes at Ukrainian positions near Druzhkivka, Donetsk, damaging 2 houses, a shop, and an educational institution. According to Russian sources, 65 Ukrainian soldiers, including from air assault, marines and territorial defense units (coded to Slovyansk), were killed in the area of Slovyansk, Kramatorsk, Druzhkivka, Mykolayivka, Stinky, Starodubivka and Malynivka [Russian MoD reported 65 fatalities.
