On 19 June 2026, in Taw Chaung U village (Myinmu township, Sagaing district, Sagaing region), the Myanmar military in the Northwestern Military Operation Headquarters conducted drone strikes on a monastery with 3 drones at around 7:20 pm. A water tower was destroyed. There were no casualties.
