On 19 June 2026, shortly after midnight, Hezbollah fired a suspected drone that exploded into an IDF tank in Kfar Tebnit town (Al Nabatieh, Al Nabatieh). Commander of the 401st Armored Brigade's 52nd Battalion was killed in the attack. Three other soldiers were also killed. In another attack, a Hezbollah explosive drone struck forces of the Commando Brigade in the town, injuring four reservist soldiers and one NCO.
