UAV event in Kyiv, Boryspil District area, Ukraine on Sat 20th June 2026

Four people were injured in an attack by enemy UAVs on Saturday afternoon in the Kyiv region - in the Boryspil and Vyshgorod districts.

Details : Initially, Kalashnik reported that a fire broke out in warehouses in the Boryspil district as a result of an attack by enemy strike drones. Rescuers localized the fire.

A 40-year-old man was hospitalized to a local hospital with combustion product poisoning.

Later, the head of the OVA wrote that the number of victims as a result of another enemy attack on the Kyiv region had increased to four people: three more residents of the region were injured in the Vyshgorod district.

The man suffered burns to his arms and legs, as well as a shrapnel fracture to his leg. The woman was diagnosed with shrapnel wounds to her arms and face, and bruises to her thigh and lower leg. Another woman suffered a concussion. All the injured were taken to a local hospital.

A car was also damaged as a result of the attack.

What preceded : On the afternoon of June 20, an air alert was declared in Kyiv and the region, as well as a number of other regions, due to the threat of attack UAVs.
