Housing units built with the support of the Nippon Foundation in Chaung Hnit Khwa Village, Ye Chaung Phyar area of Ye Township, Mon State, were hit by an airstrike, destroying five buildings, including a primary school.

It is learned that the bombs were dropped twice at around 1:00 AM today (June 18), destroying four houses and one primary school, though there were no human casualties.
