The government has concluded, following an investigation into the attack on the South Korean cargo ship HMM Namu in the Strait of Hormuz on the 4th, that the projectile that struck the ship was an Iranian anti-ship missile. As the South Korean government has released these investigation results, attention is focused on Iran's reaction.
First Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Park Yun-ju stated at a briefing on the results of the joint government investigation held at the annex of the Government Complex Seoul on the afternoon of the 27th, "Based on technical analysis, we concluded that the unidentified flying object (that attacked the Namu) is highly likely to be a Noor-series anti-ship missile developed in Iran."
