Details : The Governor of the Tyumen Region of the Russian Federation, Alexander Moor, announced on Saturday afternoon that an alleged UAV attack on the Tyumen Oil Refinery had been repelled.

"Emergency services specialists are working at the site of the debris fall. According to preliminary information, the plant was not damaged, the employees were evacuated," he wrote.

ASTRA reported that thick smoke was visible above the Tyumen Refinery – the former Antipin Refinery – in Tyumen.

Local residents reported hearing at least two explosions in the Antipino neighborhood, where the Tyumen Refinery is located, and also saw at least 10 fire engines heading towards the plant.

An aviation emergency has been declared in the region, and Tyumen airport has suspended takeoff and landing. Several flights have been delayed.

Tyumen Oil Refinery (TNPZ, a branch of the Moscow company "RI-INVEST") is one of the largest independent oil refineries in Russia, located in the industrial zone of the city of Tyumen - near the Antipino microdistrict. The capacity of the enterprise is about 8 million tons of oil per year, and the depth of processing reaches 98%. The main products of the enterprise: Euro-5 diesel fuel, stable gas gasoline, petroleum coke, bitumen and fuel oil.

Prior to this, the Tyumen Refinery was attacked in October 2025.
