A military council column raided Man Gyi Sin village, located south of Ta Nyaung village in Salin Township, Magway Region, and raped two local women from the village, local residents told Yangon Khit Thit News Agency.

Yesterday, June 10, the military council column based at the Ta Nyaung power sub-station in Salin Township raided Man Gyi Sin village. During the raid, they shot a 50-year-old local woman with a gun and raped two women living in the village.

Due to the entry of the military council column, thousands of local residents from Kan Swal village and See Sal village in Salin Township have been forced to flee to safety.
