On June 8, acting on prior information, forces ambushed a car driven by Myauk Gyi, a member of the junta-subordinated Pyu Saw Htee group known for bullying and torturing the public, on the Sagaing-Mingun road in Sagaing Township. About two Pyu Saw Htee members were injured, and the car drove off into Letpan village.
