On June 6, from around 10:30 PM to 11:00 PM, the military carried out midnight airstrikes in Kyaukphyu Township. The military used jet fighters and Y-12 aircraft to drop four bombs into Thit Ka To village in Kyaukphyu Township. Due to this attack, three IDPs who had taken refuge near the village monastery—12-year-old Ma Su Nay Lin from Taung Maw village in Kyaukphyu Township, 50-year-old U Chit Lwin from Alal Su ward in Sane town, and 69-year-old Daw Than Yee from San Htoe village in Taungup Township—sustained shrapnel injuries. Additionally, the monastery in Thit Ka To village was damaged, and a pig was hit by shrapnel and killed.
