A Police constable was killed while three other personnel sustained serious injuries in a terrorist attack on the Badwan Bridge Police checkpost in Lower Dir District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on June 18, reports ARY News. According to Police, terrorists launched an attack on the Badwan Bridge Police checkpost late at night, triggering an intense exchange of fire that continued for nearly an hour. During the attack, Constable Muhammad Ismael, a resident of Badwan, sustained critical injuries. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his wounds.
