Two Policemen were killed and six personnel sustained injuries while 16 personnel were abducted when the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorists attacked a Police check post in the Mir Bagh area of Sadda tehsil (revenue unit) in Kurram District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on June 18, reports Frontier Files. The TTP claimed responsibility of the attack. TTP also claim to have ambushed a Quick Reaction Force (QRF) Police convoy sent for reinforcement. A video showing the check post being set on fire and a cache of seized weapons, ammunition and vehicles was released.
