A reported exchange of fire took place between terrorists and members of a local peace committee group in the Miro Dara area of Bara tehsil (revenue unit) in Khyber District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on June 16, reportsThe Khyber Chronicles. The incident reportedly occurred near Khula Abdul Salam Kali, adjacent to Usman Mosque, where firing was exchanged between the terrorists and members of a local peace committee. The confrontation took place while terrorists were attempting to move one of their injured associates to a doctor for medical treatment. Following the exchange of fire, the terrorists are reportedly believed to have taken shelter inside the house of Muhammad Din, located near Abdul Salam Kali Mosque. Their number is estimated to be around 10 to 11.
