On June 16, Police arrested three persons, identified as Ajay Kumar, Omkar Nath, and Vivek Mehra, along with a pistol in Samba District of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), in connection with the contract killing of an employee of a prominent chemist in Sector 11, Chandigarh, reports Daily Excelsior. Police are interrogating the arrested persons, while the prime accused in the Chandigarh case remains absconding. Preliminary investigations suggest mobile-based communication between the suspects and other associates, and further arrests are expected as the probe continues.
