On June 16, Morteza Karimi, a teenager who was injured in Taliban gunfire during a recent protest in Herat Province, succumbed to his injuries, reports Hasht-e Subh. According to local sources, three private clinics allegedly refused to treat Karimi after he was shot twice in the leg, and a government hospital admitted him only after significant delays.
