On June 13, militants belonging linked to Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), referred to by Pakistani authorities as "Fitna al-Khawarij" attempted to destroy the Teri Ram Link Bridge on Miryan Road in Bannu District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province using explosives, reports Khyber Chronicles. According to local sources, the explosives were planted under the cover of darkness and later detonated, causing significant damage to portions of the bridge. A nearby mosque also sustained partial damage in the blast. No casualties were reported.
