On June 13,the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) arrested two members of a criminal network, identified as Kuldeep Singh and Abhiman Singh, and recovered two country-made .32 bore pistols along with five live cartridges from their possession on the ring road in Bathinda District of Punjab, reports The Tribune. Punjab Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav stated that preliminary investigations indicated the accused were linked to a criminal network operated by a jailed gangster active in the Ferozepur region. Both accused are under interrogation to establish backwards and forward linkages of the network and identify additional associates involved in illegal arms supply and organised crime activities in the region.
