On June 11, an attempted attack on a Police armoured personnel carrier (APC) failed when an explosive device concealed inside a motorcycle parked along the roadside exploded after the vehicle passed near Ghazni Khel Adda in Lakki Marwat District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), reports The Khyber Chronicle. However, despite the explosion, all Police personnel traveling in the armoured APC remained completely safe.
