As part of operation "Pelikan", police arrested eight persons suspected of drug trafficking, facilitating drug use and illegal trafficking of weapons and explosive materials. During searches conducted at multiple locations, police seized more than two kilograms of cocaine, three pistols, three pistol barrels, two silencers, two kilograms of plastic explosive, 823 grams of TNT charges, detonators, three anti-personnel landmines, a light automatic weapon with three magazines, ammunition and other items. A vehicle equipped with a concealed compartment for drug transportation was also seized.
