Police bomb disposal experts defused the warhead of a Russian Kh-101 missile that had failed to detonate in the Poltava region.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Poltava region.
“The warhead of an enemy Kh-101 missile, which had failed to detonate and posed a deadly threat to those nearby, was discovered in the Poltava region,” the statement said.
Following safety protocols, specialists neutralized the munition and then transported the warhead to a special site for subsequent destruction via a controlled detonation.
As reported by Ukrinform, the warhead of a Russian “Iskander-K” missile was discovered in the Desnianskyi district of Kyiv.
