A joint military and police intelligence operation dismantled a logistics base of organized crime in Tierra Blanca, Veracruz. The coordinated action between the Secretariat of Public Security, the National Defense, the National Guard, and the Attorney General's Office enabled the simultaneous intervention of three properties, delivering a strategic blow on the borders with Oaxaca.
Upon arriving at the scene, we were able to verify the magnitude of the deployment in the central-southern zone of the state, where the presence of federal forces maintains control of the perimeter. This operational strike directly impacts the response capacity of criminal groups in a region historically contested.
Secured weaponry: 108 long firearms, 50 fragmentation grenades, 3 grenade launchers, 2,700 magazines, and 51,400 useful cartridges. Additionally, 22 sacks and 10 boxes containing pyrotechnic material were seized, along with two Razer units, one truck, and two motorcycles.
The authorities are keeping the area under guard and the evidence in custody for disposition.
