Russian ballistic strike on Dnipro: One killed, injury toll rises to nine.
One person has been killed and the number of injured has risen to nine following a Russian strike on the city of Dnipro.
According to Ukrinform, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha, reported this on Telegram.
"A man was killed. Nine people were injured. These are the consequences of the strikes that the Russians carried out against Dnipro this morning," Hanzha wrote.
It is reported that eight of the injured are currently being treated in hospitals. Doctors assess their condition as moderate. One other person will receive treatment at home.
As Ukrinform previously reported, Russian forces attacked Dnipro on Thursday, June 18. A private enterprise was hit, and earlier reports indicated that four people had been injured.
Before the attack, the Ukrainian Air Force warned of the threat of ballistic missile strikes. Several explosions were heard in the city.
