EAST HARTFORD, Conn. (WFSB) - What was thought to be a suspicious package at a Pratt & Whitney facility in East Hartford prompted a police response. According to East Hartford police, Pratt & Whitney contacted them about it on Tuesday morning. They, along with the Hartford Bomb Squad, responded. The bomb squad determined that the package was safe, police said. The business resumed its normal activity later in the morning. No other details were released.
