On 10 June 2026, Russian forces struck Sumy territorial community, Sumy, and Sumy city, with drones. 5 civilians were injured. There was a damage to railway infrastructure, civilian infrastructure, non-residential buildings, apartment buildings and passenger cars. 1 house was burnt down. Russian forces launched a drone strike on the train station in Sumy, Sumy, and debris fell onto a passenger train. The passengers and train crew were unharmed because they were taking cover.
