On 12 June 2026, Russian Forces carried out air, drone and artillery strikes at unspecified targets in Orikhiv, Zaporizhia. Civilian casualties unknown. Russian forces (units of the 'Dnieper' group using operational-tactical aviation, combat UAVs, missile forces, and artillery) struck the Ukrainian personnel and equipment near Orikhiv. According to Russian sources, Ukrainian military lost: 18 vehicles, five electronic warfare stations and up to 45 Ukrainian servicemen were killed near Malokaterynivka and Orikhiv [Russian MoD reported 45 fatalities.
