On 9 June 2026, in Tha Man Ta Poet village (Yesagyo township, Pakokku district, Magway region), the Myanmar military stationed in Yesagyo town fired around four artillery rounds into the village at around 9 pm without an armed clash occurring. The military also launched airstrikes on the village using a fighter jet. 2 civilian men, aged between 20 and 30, were killed, and some houses were damaged. Several villagers were also forced to flee their homes. 2 fatalities.
