On 11 June 2026, in Thantlang township (Hakha district, Chin state), the Myanmar military conducted airstrikes and dropped around 30 bombs at the Chinland Defense Force - Zophei headquarters and the surrounding areas from 8:30 am to 9:30 am. The military conducted airstrikes four times with two Yak-130 from Tada-U airbase, three times with two Yak-130 from Nay Pyi Taw airbase, two times with two JF-17 Thunderjets from Magway airbase and two times with a MIG-29 from Shan Te airbase. A 28-year-old woman who was a secretary of the health department of the Zophei council was killed. 1 fatality.
