On 7 June 2026, in Thit Ka Toe village (Kyaukpyu township, Kyaukpyu district, Rakhine state), the Myanmar military launched airstrikes by dropping three bombs on the village using a Y-12 aircraft at 12:15 am. The bombs landed near a monastery, injuring 3 civilians (a 12-year-old girl, a 50-year-old man, and a 69-year-old woman). A pig was also killed.
