Around 9 June 2026, commandos of the Egoz Unit and the Yahyalam Unit identified several Hezbollah operatives utilizing a drone, in which one operative tried to shoot at the drone, in a major tunnel system near the Beaufort Castle (Al Nabatieh, Al Nabatieh). Following the identification, the Israeli Air Force carried out an airstrike targeting the operatives as they tried to flee. Troops also located several weapons including mortar bombs, cluster grenades, RPG launchers, Kornet missiles, anti-aircraft machine guns, and clutches. Unspecified fatalities coded as 3.
