On 11 June 2026, at 12:50 PM local time, Hezbollah fired a (Ababil type) hovering quadcopter drone targeting an Israeli Merkava tank along the Saf al Hawa road in Bent Jbeil city (Bint Jbeil, Al Nabatieh). At 2:15 PM, Hezbollah fired artillery shells and rocket salvos targeting Israeli military vehicles attempting to pull damaged vehicles from the Saf al Hawa road after the first attack. The IDF stated that one of its soldiers were moderately injured in a Hezbollah drone attack in southern Lebanon (coded to this event). The servicewoman serves in the IDF's Artillery Corps.
