On 12 June 2026, night, the IRCG claimed to have fired warning shots at a 'violating' oil tanker as it attempted to pass through the Strait of Hormuz 2 km off the Coast of Sirik (Sirik, Hormozgan). Other sources did not corroborate the attack. No casualties.
