On 11 June 2026, morning, Bahraini forces intercepted drones and missiles fired by the IRGC targeting US forces in Bahrain, including in King Isa Air Base (Southern). The IRGC stated that its forces launched attacks using unspecified projectiles (coded as drones based on recent activities) targeting Bahrain in response to US strikes on Iran, and the Bahraini army said that its forces shot down hostile aerial targets over unspecified locations in the country. The Bahraini foreign minister later stated that Bahrain was attacked with 36 drones on 11 June. A number of Fuel bladders were destroyed and were hangars damaged in King Isa Air Base (unclear if from shrapnel from interception or direct impact). Falling debris from the interceptions caused 1 injury and material damage in Hamad City and the Capital (coded as separate events).
