10th June 2026
A child and several civilians were injured after the terrorist military launched an airstrike on June 10 against Pauk Taw (West) Village in Myaung Township—located near Chaung-U Township along the Ayeyarwady River in Sagaing Region, an area that has experienced intense military activity.
Despite the absolute absence of active clashes in the area, the terrorist military fired three rockets directly targeting a location where a civilian funeral service was being held in Pauk Taw (West) Village.
According to confirmations from two local residents, one child had to undergo emergency surgery, one man is facing an arm amputation, and several other villagers sustained various injuries.
A military source confirmed that while there were no fatalities resulting from the military's airstrike, the attack severely injured civilians, including a young child, forcing the residents of Pauk Taw (West) Village to flee their homes due to the ongoing threat of airstrikes.
