Four alleged members of organized crime were captured following a violent clash against the Mexican Army on Thursday, June 11, in the Ranchito de Los Gaxiola community, Mocorito, Sinaloa. The shootout began when federal forces intercepted the suspects aboard a pickup truck, unleashing a hail of bullets that shattered the peace of the area just a few kilometers from the municipal seat.

The on-site forensic deployment confirmed that one of the aggressors was seriously injured and remains hospitalized under custody. The criminal structure operating in this sector of the Évora region suffers a blow to its operational arm following the neutralization of the group.
