On June 11, a gym linked to Punjabi singer Guru Randhawa came under attack in the Paschim Vihar area in Delhi, after unidentified assailants opened fire outside the premises, reports The Tribune. Anil Pandit faction of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang later claimed responsibility for the attack. Police stated that two men on a motorcycle arrived at the 24 Hs Fitness gym around 4 am and fired multiple rounds before fleeing the spot. At least seven shots were reportedly fired during the incident. No injuries were reported. The message reportedly cited Guru Randhawa’s proximity to Bollywood actor Salman Khan as the motive behind the attack. Police have stated that the authenticity of the post is being verified, and all possible angles—including extortion, organised crime links, and personal rivalry—are under investigation.
