On June 11, two Kuki civilians were killed and two others injured in a pre-dawn attack at Kultuh village under Chassad Police Station in Kamjong District of Manipur, reports The Sangai Express. The deceased were identified as Letminlun Haokip (35), Head Deacon of the village Church, and Lunminthang Haokip (23), Chairman of the Church Youth Committee. The injured were identified as Jangkhomang (28) and Kamminlal (27). At least 15 houses were set ablaze in the attack. The Naga Village Guard (NVG) Eastern Command blamed the Kuki National Army-Burma (KNA-B) for the attack, while the Eastern Kuki Chiefs' Association (EKCA) alleged the involvement of Eastern Flank of the Myanmar-based National Socialist Council of Nagalim-Isak-Muivah (NSCN-IM) and the Shanni National Army (SNA). No outfit has claimed responsibility as of yet.
