On June 10, a rusted mortar shell was recovered in Kothey Sanian village in Bishnah in Jammu District of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), reports Daily Excelsior. Following information about the suspected explosive device, a bomb disposal squad (BDS) reached the site and safely neutralised the shell through a controlled explosion in an open field. Officials confirmed that the operation was carried out without any damage to life or property.
