Undefined Explosive Device (UED) event in Balochistan, Spilinji, Mastung District area, Pakistan on Tue 9th June 2026

Unidentified armed men, suspected to be Baloch insurgents, targeted military personnel in the Spilinji area of Mastung District in Balochistan on June 9, reports The Balochistan Post. The attack occurred after security personnel reportedly entered the area to remove flags said to have been erected by Baloch nationalist activists. Armed men opened fire on soldiers on foot. Following the initial attack, Security Forces (SFs) advanced into the area using vehicles and motorcycles, after which an armoured vehicle was struck by an explosive device and destroyed. There were also unconfirmed reports that motorcycle-borne security personnel may have been caught in the blast. Authorities have not commented on the reported incident or provided information regarding casualties or material losses.
