Undefined Explosive Device (UED) event in Jammu and Kashmir, Dori Maal, Rajouri area, India on Mon 8th June 2026

On June 8, explosions and gunfire were reported from the dense forested belt of Dori Maal in the Gambhir Mughalan area of Rajouri during an ongoing counter-terrorism operation, reports Greater Kashmir. The operation was launched on May 23 following intelligence inputs, when security forces initiated a search operation in the Dori Maal forest region and made initial contact with suspected militants, resulting in an encounter. Since then, security forces have continued extensive search-and-destroy operations across the difficult forest terrain.
